Sydney Cricket Ground

Sydney Cricket Ground is one Australia’s premier sporting and entertainment venues. With over 100 years of sporting games and events being held here, it boasts an impressive sporting history with more than its fair share of memorable moments. Despite its name, Sydney Cricket Ground has become the host to many other sports, including rugby union, soccer, baseball and more. Before Sydney Football Stadium opened, it was the official home for rugby league in Sydney. For any sports fanatic, visiting Sydney Cricket Ground is a must.

Getting Here:

As Sydney Cricket Ground is approximately 3.6km from Avonmore on the Park, it is best getting here via taxi or public transport. If you choose to catch public transport, you can catch the 373 or 376 bus from Belmore Road, or the 374 bus from the bus stop on Alison Rd where Alison Park is. This will take approximately 18 minutes.
